  • Gain a competitive edge in the job market or for grad school
  • Learn another language fluently
  • Expand your understanding of other cultures
  • Gain a new perspective in your field of study
  • Earn academic credit toward your degree
  • Make new friends and grow as a global citizen
  • See the world!

Opportunities include academic semester/year or winter/summer abroad, internships, volunteer programs, and international career counseling. SUNY Cobleskill offers several exciting programs, and as a SUNY student you have access to over 600 other options available from SUNY universities, in addition to non-SUNY programs.

To begin your exploration of international options, review the links above and make an appointment to meet with Andrew Lucas, Study Abroad Coordinator in the Office of International Education by phone, email or stopping by the office: 518-255-5556, lucasac@cobleskill.edu, 116 Bouck Hall. Please note that you MUST meet with the study abroad coordinator if you plan to study abroad.

A note about cost: Studying abroad can be expensive, but financial aid may apply to most programs and some scholarships are available. Do not be discouraged. Review the financial aid/scholarship information above, and speak to the study abroad coordinator to discuss the possibilities.
